Even with the advances in ultrasounds, it is not always possible to know the sex of the baby. Some couples choose not to find out. On rare occasions, the ultrasounds are wrong. Everyone wants to buy clothes for the new baby, and unisex baby clothes are the best option to purchase before the baby is born.
Unisex baby clothes are not uncommon in newborn sizes. Onesies, with or without pants, and pajama sets are needed items and are available in all colors. Often well meaning people choose neutral colors of pale yellow or pale green for baby clothing to be considered unisex. Yet passersby ask if the baby is a boy or girl most of the time since they’re afraid to get it wrong.
Baby clothes are always cute, and it is more fun to get clothes to express the style of the parents than worry about putting a girl only in pink and a boy only in blue. Brown has gained popularity in baby clothes. Orange, red, white and black have possibilities for either sex.
Few things are off limits when trying to find unisex baby clothes. Dresses, headbands, and excessive ruffles may lead to feminine thoughts, while sports themes may lead to masculine ones. Other than that, a wide range of unisex baby clothes are available.
